IMC has won the association for Organics Recycling’s (AFOR) prestigious ‘Research & Development’ Award 2009 for its Food Waste Recycling solution.
Introduced in 2001, the annual Awards showcase excellence and innovation across the composting industry. This year’s awards were announced at AFOR’s annual national conference on 27 January at the National Motorcycle Museum in the West Midlands.
The accolade recognises IMC’s pioneering work with Imperial College, London, in researching and establishing a landmark solution in reducing volumes of food waste disposal to landfill.
